In 2007, I began my original website, Sonshine's Haven. In 2007, it was turned into a blog and used to keep family updated on my first husband's fight with liver cancer. He passed away November of 2009. We were married for 34+ wonderful years and this journals some of that grief process I've gone through.

I have since remarried another widower, but Mike is missed dearly, and will always be a big part of my life.

Doing Well

Mike has been feeling very good the past few days. Outside of the pain in his feet, and wearing out sooner than he would like to, he has been feeling well. This week we have been around the grandsons more, and that always does Mike's heart good.

God's mercies are new every morning.

"Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." Lamentations 3:21-23
