In 2007, I began my original website, Sonshine's Haven. In 2007, it was turned into a blog and used to keep family updated on my first husband's fight with liver cancer. He passed away November of 2009. We were married for 34+ wonderful years and this journals some of that grief process I've gone through.

I have since remarried another widower, but Mike is missed dearly, and will always be a big part of my life.

Tomorrow morning we have an appointment with Mike's oncologist here. Labs will be done before the visit, and I'm anxious to have his bilirubin count. Mike is feeling fine, but has been feeling a little uncomfortable the last couple of days in the area where his right biliary tube is. He has told me he doesn't hurt deep inside, just a little on the surface. There has been no fever, so I'm wondering if he hasn't just aggravated it by trying to do some painting.

It has been almost two months since we were last in Houston for the biliary exchange. We're hoping we can coast for another month without returning, since we have all the other tests and biliary exchange scheduled for April 21-24. A good bilirubin count would hopefully indicate no infection or blockage. We would appreciate your prayers.
