In 2007, I began my original website, Sonshine's Haven. In 2007, it was turned into a blog and used to keep family updated on my first husband's fight with liver cancer. He passed away November of 2009. We were married for 34+ wonderful years and this journals some of that grief process I've gone through.

I have since remarried another widower, but Mike is missed dearly, and will always be a big part of my life.

Mike is back on his feet following Tuesday's biliary exchange in Little Rock. He still is running a low temperature, and his right drain shows signs of a minor infection, so we've gone ahead and started his antibiotic, Levaquin. Mike doesn't want to return to Little Rock to have it checked out. He'd rather keep his biliary appointment in Houston, in a few weeks, and have them look at things then.

The length of these tubes are another problem. They are longer and are getting caught in his clothing, so he's trying to be careful.

Meanwhile, he's back in his shop tinkering with things and playing with his grandsons. Thank you for your prayers.

Drew told us all about playing foosball and air hockey at "Drew's old house." It took us a while to figure out what he was saying becuase it sounded like "Drew's whole house." He said he played air hockey with Daddy because Grandma was tired. :) He also said he got to eat popcorn! It sounds like you all had a fun day!
